Sunway Animangaki 2009 Day 1

Okay, here is another event coverage post. Sorry guys for the late update since I was down with a flu the past few days and busy with college stuff >.<
This time, the ACG (anime, comic, games) event is Sunway Animangaki which is organized by the Sunway University College Anime Club. The event was held over 2 days, last weekend. This post covers some of the stuff that happened on Day 1 as you can guess from the title.
The event was held at the Multi Purpose Hall at Sunway University College.
The emcees of the day. There wasn't much of an opening ceremony that day as compared to C2AGE.
There was some matsuri thing going on too outside of the MPH. This is one of the games they had which involves retrieving the ballons with some newspaper strip (there's a hook at the end of course ^^).
Here's how some decos look like in the matsuri section. There were other games too like scooping the fish out of the pond.

Heading back to the MPH, there were quite a number of doujin booths around selling all sorts of doujin stuff.

Didn't take much pictures of the cosplay competition since I was busy with something else at that time ^^; . Anyways, that's all for Day 1 coverage of Animangaki. I will post more pictures and updates for Day 2 so look forward to it. I am still not feeling that well while typing this >.<
