Daicon 2009 Day 2

This is the continuation from Day 1 of Daicon. Most of the pics here are csoplay pictures.
There were a few other stuff lined up on that day besides the main event which is Chiahara Minori's first live concert in South East Asia. Some of the events were the group cosplay competition but I didn't really bother checking stuff that was happening at the stage haha.
Drove there on the second day. Had to stick this in the car when going in to the campus ^^;
Stuff at the entrance. Ticket redemption, pass registration, etc. Dell had a booth set up promoting their products around the area here.

Queue at the KKnM booth was long as usual on the second day too. And this was quite early when I lined up, sometime around 11 something. I fail to comprehend why they make people line up just to enter the booth though. Seems like they limit the amount of people in the booth at one time thus the long queue. And some people tend to browse the items in there for quite long ^^; . Did not get anything from the store.

Stuff from the Chihara Minori's concert. Well actually, it was the flag only. Sadly picture taking was restricted T_T.
The concert was really great. Minorin performed 10 songs + another 3 encores. Haha, the crowd were like shouting for an encore after she left the stage the first time. Took about 3 minutes for her to get back but I think it was long cause she had to change into a Kebaya ^^.
Got the Elite tickets for the concert. My seat was to the far left. Did not expect the seats to be arranged that far apart from the stage. Did not get any glow sticks too OTL. Only the Awsm ticket holders got that and some of the Elite ticket holders that were seated in the centre area.
Autographed Parade album xD. My ticket got "upgraded" and was qualified for the autograph session on the first day.
Some other loot from Daicon. Free Comic Fiesta T-shirt. I did not buy anything for both days =p. Not much stuff that were able to tempt me to make a purchase.
Overall, the event was a really great one. I enjoyed my time there. This is the first time that Daicon is held and there are certainly rooms for improvement. Some people said that the committe focused their efforts too much on the concert itself and should have other interesting events going on before the concerts etc.
The venue for the event was quite far but I haven't been to GACC in Malacca yet to experiene what "far" is lol. This is it for the event coverage. I hope that I will be able to attend more events in the future and look out for my event posts too.

Wo... u also went for the daicon... the cosplay seem very nice ^__^..
wish i was there ^__^ .. nice report
