AFA 09

Anime Festival Asia 09 or more commonly refered to AFA 09 will take place on the 21 & 22 November this year in Singapore. I will be heading down to Singapore to attend the event. Already booked my flight tickets ^^; . I didn't manage to go for the one last year so decided to go this year.
The current lineup of events and activites looks really great from the info displayed on the website. There are much more concerts/performances this year compared to the last. They managed to get more artists from Japan this year. There's a whole bunch of other stuff that will be there during the event like a maid cafe. Then you have your cosplay competiton but the cool thing is that the judge of the competition is actually a well known cosplayer from Japan (Kaname). There's a also a conference known as Animation Asia Conference but that is more for folks related to the industry I guess.
Ticket prices are as follows. Apparently the student priced ticket only applies for student in Singapore I think, according to one of my friends. Some of the other activies also listed in the image above.
The K-ON! cast will also be there on that day for a Q&A panel and some live dubbing thing, whatever that is.
But the one that I'm looking forward too would be the concerts also known as I Love anisong event. There will be performances from artists like May'n, Shoko Nakagawa, Ichirou Mizuki, Yoshiki Fukuyama and Hatsune Miku. For the Miku performance, I'm thinking that they will do something similar to the one at MikuFes.
No photography/video recording during concert? OTL. Wonder how will they implement it because I remember they had the same ruling last year but there were still videos posted up on Youtube.. lol.
But the price for the tickets are kinda on the high side, especially when you have to convert SGD 188 to MYR >.<
I will be looking forward to the event this year.
