AFA 09 Report

This is coming in a little late since I was occupied with "stuff" recently ^^; . Haha. Anyway, I will be posting a report on AFA 09 here which took place on the 21-22 November 2009. Anime Festival Asia or AFA as it is commonly referred to is an anime convetion event with much more which takes place on an annual year basis. This year's event being the second time its held.
AFA 09 was held Suntec Convention and Exhibition Hall, Singapore. Its the same venue as the previous year.. and that place is huge!! >_<

Here you see a bunch of people lining up on the first day. This was before the gates opened and there were tons of people lining up to buy the tickets to get in. T'was about 10 a.m. ish before the event started.
Ticketing counter. Tickets were SGD 25 for 2 day pass. Surprisingly some of my friends managed to get the students price using their Malaysian student IDs ^^; . Guess they were too busy to notice.

Anyway, its was a enjoyable experience for me as I didn't get to attend the previous year's event. I didn't go for the concert since I had no tix and the "free" standing area was quite far back with so many people already lining up for it before the concert started. Will look forward to next year and hope that I will be able to attend AFA 10 ^^
