@fede: Did you select the source input on the monitor to be analogue?
If that still doesn't work, then you might have to return the monitor from where you got it. They should be able to exchange it if the monitor is faulty.

I have the same monitor, and it brings that vga to dvi cable, but I have tried using it with 2 laptops of vga output, desktops, etc, and the monitor hw is recognized, but the screen doesn't display anything. I've tried with the HW installed, unisntalled, setting it as primary display...and nothing. I read somewhere that it's a known problem but samsung doesn't cover it.
Any suggestion? Thanks a lot!

You could try using another HDMI cable. Maybe borrow one from a friend if they have it to test and see if its the cable's fault.

I tired what you said, but it doesnt seem to work, . I also tried midnight club LA, and looks worse than in my phiplis 21" flat screen of 480i.... and it supports 1080p damn. could it be the hdmi cable? idk, maybe i should buy another one.

i ll try, but i just cant understand why the 720p games cant run without being pixalated. Its just weird

As for GTA 4.. the game's abit blurry like that. Not tack sharp but yeah, I think its the way the game itself was designed.

In GTA 4 under the display settings try this "Turn Flicker filter off".

I'm not too sure about resistance 2 and red dead though.

yes, it looks even worse xD, unbelivable, and much worse in resistance 2. But what it observed is that the image is like blurred, for example if i am looking towards a street, i see the buildings, the cars, the street very blurred. Have you configurated something in the monitor, so that it works fine?

Does the image look fuzzy on GTA4?

I've not tried red dead redemption so I can't really help you on that one but I'm guessing its tied to the game since you had no problems with GT5

oo, i forgot, red dead redemption does not support 1080p, just 720p,but, cant i play without having the game pixelated?
