Haven't updated my blog in awhile. So... I will be posting a figure post. Its been awhile since I posted one up. The figure I'm writing up today is figma Hayate manufactured by Max Factory.

Its an action figure with articulation points meaning its posible and there are a few interchangeable parts such as the hands. In case you are wondering, Hayate Yagami is a character from the series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. This version in particular is from the Strikers series.

She comes with a hat accesory which you can attach to her hair. Looks better with her hat on =P .

Upon close inspection... you can see her glaring right into your eyes. Waiting...................... to zap you into bits. Hahaha.

Here you can see Hayate with her magical(?) wings attached.

With her holding the book, you can pose her into a spell chanting thingymajig for that added awesomeness.

Time for update xD. Basically, there was a nendoroid gathering held sometime back by the people from the Nendo thread in LYN forums. So here are the pics of the nendoroids from that day ^^. More pictures after the break.

GSC Nendoroid Petit Hachune Miku

Hohoho. Yet another cute thing added to my collection =D . Its a Nendoroid Petit or puchi as its known.

The nendoroid puchi in my hands is Hachune Miku from the Vocaloid Nendoroid Petit set produced by Good Smile Company.

This is what the box looks like. Got this as a gift from a friend. Thanks again Geoffrey! Hope you have a blast at Australia xP.

Sealed Miku and contents. Left and right tail markings so you don't plug them in the wrong areas if you know what I mean. ^^;

Oh noes.. I'm suffocating....

Hachune.

I can haz leeks?

The entire Vocaloid Nendoroid Petit set comes with 12 pieces or boxes. There are 11 types all together.

And yeah... I got Hachune Miku or the secret char version when I opened the box. Lol.

Quality wise, its actually good. It has articulating points so you can pose the nendo around.

Smaller than a nendoroid but still detailed. Comes with a stand too which pokes into the back of it unlike regular nendoroids so you can make "suspended in air" poses. Well..... kinda.

Ga-Rei Zero figmas

Ga-Rei Zero figmas? You heard them right. This figma action figure of Kagura will be available for pre-order soon. Details are from the official figma blog.

Aren't that many Ga-Rei Zero figures around. The only one released up to date is a Yomi figure by Chara-Ani but it doesn't look that nice IMO. At least, Ga-Rei Zero are getting more figures even though they are figmas.

Good Smile Company Ryougi Shiki

Another figure post and this time its a static figure of Shiki produced by Good Smile Company which is one of the more notable figure manufacturers. Figure is made to a 1/7 scale, slightly bigger than typical 1/8s.

Full product name is Ryougi Shiki Garannodou (りょうぎしき　がらんのどう) and is from the Kara no Kyoukai series by Type-Moon.

She comes with a sword as an option part but is more often seen with a knife in the series.

As usual, Shiki always wears a kimono ^^

The details on her kimono is amazing. Quality paint job as expected from GSC.

This version of her outfit has something to do with the 4th installment of the trillogy I think. Can't really remember, watched it quite a long time back ^^;

As with my Nendoroid Kagamiku, my Shiki had some paint scrapped of her hair area. Probably due to damage during shipping (local side) because the box was in a very very bad shape when it arrived orz. I have the picture of the box somewhere.

How do you like my back? （＾∀＾）

Side view. You will probably notice that white thing on her hair which is the paint damage I mentioned earlier.

Closer inspection of her sword and in the background is the white coloured base for support.

Love this shot.

Oh and by the way, the sub for the 7th and final movie of the Kara no Kyoukai trilogy is finally out after almost 2 years since it began.

Good Smile Company Nendoroid Kagamiku

Haven't posted one of this figure review posts in a long time so I thought I'd post one now haha. The figure this time around is a Nendoroid by Good Smile Company. My first nendoroid actually.

The full name of this nendoroid is Nendoroid MikkuMiku Kagami (ミックミクかがみ) but I will just called her Kagamiku for short. She's more commonly referred to by that anyway.

As you may have guessed, this is not the real Miku character and is a cosplay version of her.

She's actually Kagami from Lucky Star cosplaying as Hatusune Miku from the Vocaloid series. She makes her appearance in this form in the Lucky Star OVA.

As with any other figure or nendoroid, she comes with a base. This is the standard nendoroid base with the stand to hold her up in place.

Figure is detailed. As you can see from her right arm on that what you call it thing around her hand, the logo's detail is taken into account too.

My Kagamiku actually came with some paint scrapped of her hair around the fringe area. Not sure whether its because it got damaged during shipping or was some sort of paint job defect. You probably won't be able to find it in the pictures because I shopped them away =p

One thing I like about her twintails is that you can make her kind of stand without the need of the base support =)

As you have probably noticed, her face expressions are interchangeble with 3 different face parts all together. Also included are other interchangeble parts for her arms and leg.

Isn't she just cute? （＾∀＾）

Vocaloid Plushies

More Vocaloid plushies are on the way. Pre-orders are now open for Kagamine Len an Rin plushies.

As usual, they are manufactured by Gift.

Both of them retails for 3500 yen and will be released in December.

And then there's Kaito. He has already been released but is out of stock at most stores at the moment so there is a pre-order opened for the re-release. In stock in December as well.

Based on what Gift is doing.... I expect that more Vocaloids will be released soon to complete the family. Haha

Gift Hachune Miku Plush

Yay! I just acquired this super cute Hatsune Miku plush not long ago. Its somewhat a nendoroid since it has a huge head and small body xD.

The full name of this product is..... Nendoroid Plus Plushie Series 02: Hachune Miku and is manufactured by Gift. I didn't know that Gift manufactures plushies up till now.

Retails for 3500 yen and was initially released in September 2009. The one I got is the re-released batch.

Here, you can see the relative size of the plushie. Was not as big I expected it to be. Partially cause the ones in the product shots looks oh so big xP.

She comes with the trademark Hachune Miku facial expression hence the name lol. Made popular with Miku with this face waving her leek back and forth.

Mmmm... Leeek. Yummy....

Stubby hand which is so darn cute.

Her twin tails are soft and fluffy. Its flexible too with some kind of support mechanism in the tails so that it will hold its shape.

There's another version of this plushie featuring the regular Hatsune Miku face. Will be getting that one sometime soon.

Overall, I'm really satisfied with this plushie. Its just so cute!!!

Alter Delays

More delays of figure releases for the month. This time its Alter Nanoha Exceed Mode. She's supposed to be released this month but its now pushed back 2 months to December orz.

Another delay is Alter's Fate True Sonic Form Figure.

This is the second time that she is being delayed. Supposed to be released this month too after the first delay. The release date is now postponed to November. Hopefully there won't be any more delays after this.

Such delays are most probably caused due to the manufactures trying to ensure that the quality of the end product figure remains top notch and Alter is known to have great quality figures so I hope they won't disappoint. Either that or they can't produce enough figures on time to fill the orders ^^;

Kotobukiya Saber

Another figure post =D . Okay, this is one of my earlier acquired figures and its rather old too being first released all the way back in 2005.

This figure by Kotobukiya is Saber(セイバー), from the visual novel Fate/Stay Night(フェイト/ステイナイト) which has a popular anime adaptation. She is produced to a 1/8 scale here.

I remember getting this from eBay since its was already out of production at that time and not many shops carry stock anymore.

Here is the box of the figure itself. There was a time when figure boxes used to be really SMALL compared to the ones released now. Nowadays, they seem to keep getting bigger and bigger. At least for the ones that I'm getting ^^;

She comes with a blue coloured base which is not shown here.

(Note: The pictures here have some lighting issues since I took them quite some time ago.)

Quality is around average I must say. This is among Kotobukiya's earlier figures and some find that their older figures have the skin colour painted in a glossy tone. The quality of their newer released figures are better.

The one that I received did not come with any paint defects or bad paint jobs. The sword is rather detailed as you see here.

I must say that you can't really complain about the quality of the figure since its price is reasonable comapared to figures nowadays. It had a retail price of 3480 yen when it was launched and not many figures nowadays are sold at that price anymore. Then again, the low price does not mean that this is one figure with crappy quality ^^;
