My first Blu-ray =D. Well, kinda... Had a post earlier back about the stuff I received from CD Japan and I will be posting more pics on this blu-ray video.

Title of the blu-ray is Mizuki Nana Live Diamond x Fever. Rather long indeed. The "live" in the title pretty much explains that this is the blu-ray recording of the concert performed by Mizuki Nana. Its 2 concerts actually.

I managed to get hold of the First Press copy of the Blu-ray which I'm not mistaken comes with this external box like casing.

More pictars. The Live Diamond concert was held at the Seibu Dome in Saitama hence the baseball stadium theme ^^ .

Hmm a post on a music album. Haven't done a write up on the albums that I got sometime ago. The album in this post is Destiny by Tainaka Sachi. Its her third album releasesd to date.

Official release date for the album is 16th September 2009. I pre-ordered the album and CD Japan was really quick in sending it out. I got it after 2 days or so after the release date and its not even express (EMS) shipping. T'was regular airmail =D. Hats off to CD Japan for efficient shipping. They probably shipped it even before the release date 8D.

First press edition comes with limited postcards. 2 to be exact.

And a post card featuring Saber from the Fate/stay Night series. This was probably included due to the fact that Tainaka Sachi is closely associated to the theme song performances for the Fate series.

And the DVD which comes in the Limited Edition. Therea are 6 PVs in there. Lazy to name them down. You can see the titles in the pic above ^^.

The DVD is a R2 DVD though so do take note if you intend to play it with your regular DVD player. You either have to get a region free DVD player or set the region settings of your DVD drive if you want to view it on your computer.

4 of the tracks are from previous singles which are Unmeibitio, Mou Kiss Sarechatta, code and Mata Ashita ne. The rest are new original material. Well, "code" is one of my favourite tracks from the list. Its been used for the Fate/Unlimited codes game and the song has a bit rock-ish and faster paced tune to it. Not something heard often from Tainaka Sachi since "Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni" since most of her songs tend be ballads.

I got this album not too long ago. The album titled Parade is Chihara Minori's third album.

Well, you can kinda guess what influenced me to get this album based on my previous post ^^;

The album was released on the 26th November 2008.

As with most Japanese albums, there tends to be 2 types of releases for an album which is the Regular Edition and Limited Edition albums.  I didn't manage to get the "Dream Limited Edition" version as its sold out everywhere I checked.

Behold... The Zune HD

Microsoft has recently announced the release date of the Zune HD which is scheduled to be sometime in September this year.

The Zune HD has the specifications listed below: * 3.3 inch OLED display touch screen (480x272 16:9 resolution).

• 3.3-inch screen and 16:9 OLED display (480x272 resolution)
• Multi-touch technology (Capacitive touch screen similar to that of the iPod Touch)
• Flash memory
• Built-in accelerometer

• HDMI connection, for video streaming to HDMI compatible TVs
• 720p high definition video support and output (additional dock required)
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• Web browser

According to Techradar.com,

"Zune Video, a 'revised' service to the current US Zune Marketplace, will arrive in the UK on Xbox Live, as well as in the US, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland and Spain."

Hands on video for the Zune HD

In my opinion, the Zune HD might be a cheaper alternative to the iPod Touch and looking at the current specs, its looking like a good competitor to be for the iPod Touch lineup. No word on what the memory storage configurations will be though.  Radio seems like a good option if you ever get bored of listening to the music stored in your player. The iTouch doesn't have this feature though you can stream music from apps like last.fm.  I will  be sticking to my iTouch for the moment ^^;
